memoirs
Chapter 1 (or prologue) “The Love”
We met at a young age.
I was innocent and drawn to her. She was new, exciting, enticing. I found joy
and escape in her embrace and together I felt unstoppable, whole, more than
human. Over the years we grew close, we drifted apart, we fought like bitter
enemies and loved as the desert loves the rain.
She became my
strongest lover, my fondest mistress and my fiercest dominatrix. She would lift
me up and drop me down. She brought tears of joy and pain to my eyes and soul. She
taught me the meaning of real love, a love more than the physical. A love that opened
my eyes to nature, to the universe. She taught me the meaning of desire, pain,
and what it truly means to loose as well as morn.
She taught me that
life is precious and fleeting, that every moment and every breath could be our
last. She made me bled, she broke my bones; she broke my heart and tore at my
soul. She introduced me to my best friends and taught me to not trust them; she
was cold, calculated and hard but filled me with the joy of a new day, a new
sunrise, a new beginning. She showed me the world and offered it to me whole-heartedly.
She taught me the use
of tools, of materials and how to make her beautiful, flawless. Perfect. She
was my drug, my liquor and I yearned for her, went homeless for her, I gave her
all that is me. She saved my life, picked me up out of the dark with a gentle
hand, a whisper of hope and a touch of love when no other was there. She
returned to me what I gave her: life.
She was my greatest
love, my closest, longest mistress, my deepest passion, my best friend my
creator and my murderer. I will
always love her.

Fat Bikes
'Aigh't then.. I always thought fat bikes were fun in a gimmicky way for sure. one of the more obscure trends that would always remain part of a sub culture. something that would always see US, steel or possibly aluminum fabrication and never sell more than maybe 100 a year industry wide. well now some fucktard marketing genius said "hey, let's mainstream these bad boys and we can cash in on them as a 'trending' product."
But because of this we are seeing shit like this:
as well as super high end full carbon (which I have to admit is pretty cool, despite its amazingly scary nature.
Yeah people laughed at him too back in the 90's when he couldn't sell his forks to buy pizza
Pose on the beach with and show off how much smaller your ass is from riding a bike that weighs more than you
oh man, the whole concept is just driving me to drink....
Sure there are some really cool designs out there like the aforementioned carbon bike and this:
but the fat bike is an adventure bike. something designed to go get lost in the backcountry with
Ride the snow covered trails of Alaska (Dog knows there is no dirt there, just snow all year round, like Iceland)
But now with the major companies of Special Ed, Trek and Norco all making fat bikes and the push of these carbon and even Titanium "racey" models and talk of the new schooler fat bike types saying there needs to be a category to race these things professionally. Add to that noncense the addition of "sex appeal" to this platform and POW
well.. since you put it that way, I kind of want one now too. Maybe the 650B idiots should have tried this marketing method rather than just stopping production on 26" products.
man, I really need to just take up golf!

In an ongoing effort to try to keep up with http://teamrobotkillsyourface.com/ I'm going to try to post new shit here more often. I am a lazy bastard and I admit it so stopping to post here for the one person that reads it makes me feel like Doogie Howser masturbating so it is kind of hard to justify the time but nonetheless.
There is news on the North American produced Musashi front finally. I have traction with CNC as our shop (in northeast Canada of all places) can get us all the machined parts (approx 38.8897% of the bike is CNC machined) within 6-7 weeks of us getting them the $28,000 to make them. We are short the full funds to make the bikes but I am trying. I pretty much sold everything (including my sperm and blood and attempting to pimp out my dogs) to make this project roll. The deposits I collected have all gone to buy tubing and pay bills to keep the company treading water. I have not paid myself since December of 2012 so those of you that think I am just living fat off your money you can eat a dick.
The bikes will cost us about $40% more than we got in for deposits because of the North American fabrication as opposed to the TW fabrication. So hate me for wanting to give jobs and money back to my own country.
