#iRideforghost

Ghost, A.K.A. Ghost Dog, A.K.A. Ghostifari is doing wonderful thanks to all of you!

this smile is for all of you!!!

Sweet like Candy!

So since we officially don't have the log on info anymore for Candy Components we decided to combine that blog with our One Ghost Industries blog and really step it up and bring Lunchbox Labs to life for realzies!

expect lots of uncensored mayhem and shenanigans here  and "leaks to the public" with new and "unobtanium" product. videos and lots more so sit back and enjoy this wonderful selection of new pedals for the Candy Component Group we have finished up:
The Candy Components "rACE day pedal.

The pedal body is 115 wide x 110 tall. The profile from the side tapers from 10mm near the axle to 15mm at the tips. The large diameter at the axle is 18mm in diameter, and so I kept the ends taller so the axle area doesn't feel like a big hump in the middle.
Three colorways chosen:
Ghost Dog Limited Edition (Ti axle only, dark polished black chrome finish with Gold pins/axle. a portion of all sales of this one go to the Ghost Dog Foundation);
Pantone 193C (dark blood red polished) and deep purple.

a little something from the future?

I like to post things here as inspiration hits from late nights here in the Lunchbox Labs. You all know about Ghost and he is doing better. I'll get a video up soon enough but I wanted to share with you a scoop of the best home made ice cream, a sweet taste of the futre from One Ghost Industries.

It is no secret we have been developing a 6" super D specific-yet trail devastating weapon over the last 4 years. Well it looks like we have it!

Warm up your credit cards. I give you the Moto-GP enabled Longbow SD-1.

Light hydroformed Aluminum (17.5" frame weight is about 2850 grams w/o shock). tapered internal head tube. internal and external cable routing, Moto*GP full floating suspension system. long and low geometry and just flat out fast and designed for the long range downhill trail shred session!

I ride for Ghost

hey all... our beloved (by all) mascot and inspiration to the company One Ghost Industries needs a new knee.
we are a very, very small company and can not afford the full brunt of the cost of the surgery but we are going through with it nonetheless.

Ghost is my dearest, closest friend and my own personal inspiration to be a better human. He loves everyone he meets and has fun everywhere, he loves bikes so much (probably more than I do!)

We are setting up a donation fund now to help pay for the surgery for him. I will post up the overall cost but it is in the neighborhood of $2200-$2600 per knee. Lucky for him and us so far they are pretty sure it is only one knee though however I was told that when one knee goes, the other is soon to follow and unlike a human knee a dog's knee, when it goes it won't come back naturally because of the shape of the leg.

We have quite possibly the best surgeon in southern California lined up to work on him, he literally does 12 reconstructions a week and is a retired Navy veteren and former owner of a specialty animal surgery clinic and has rebuild hundreds of dogs (he sold the clinic and went into private practice).

We will be making t-shirts to give to everyone that donates over $30 to help Ghost out and get him back to getting his shredy on!

We were just told by Fine Art Stef (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fine-Art-Stef/252278581223) that she will give a piece of original artwork to anyone that donates over $200.

Thank you everyone.

David
