MBO

Spent the weekend riding hard at Mountain Bike Oregon. Not to many riding shots as I failed to bring my camera but I have some pics on my phone that I shot before it ran out of battery.
I was able to get in 60+ miles of pure, unadulterated single track shredding. Epic 15+ mile DH one day, another epic 20+ mile roller super-D style and a 24.5 mile out and back XC loop. Rode with Christian Ettinger of Hopworks Urban Brewery (my favorite) on day 3 and boy, that guy's a hammer!
I'll post the pics as soon as it is done syncing.

Fresh Vittles

This just in... Generation 2 of the Wakazashi SS/4X frame. These are our pre production models to shake them out to make sure we have them right. The colors came out a bit off (they were supposed to be dark brown, not golden blond, but that's OK to!)

Stay posted, we'll add more detail shots soon!

USA National Championships..

For Immediate Release...

Sol Vista Bike Park

One Ghost Industries team riders take multiple podium spots rocking some of the smoothest frames ever developed.

Though all still prototypes, our 4X squad armed with Tanto hard tales take a 4th, 2 7th places and a 10th, these are NATIONAL RANKINGS for Cat 2 and Cat 3 Jr racers.

In the DH we have Dillon Lemarr in Senior 18-25 in 2nd and Jackson Buscher in 2nd as well in the 16-18 class Cat 3.

In Cat 1 Senior 25-29 we have Big Rob McCarthy!

Aboard the technologically advanced Katana DH frame, our riders pounded their prototypes on the hard Colorado rocks for some sweet top 10 finishes.

Crusty Butte part duce

just got an update from the field...

DH mx

Christen 5th 1st

Riley 11th 6th

Price 18th x

Dillon 13th 3rd podium yea

Strickland 27 13th

Jackson 14th x

Race was fun, it rained all day Saturday and the track was a joke. You literally slid through the turns and most of the jumps were not jumpable by almost all racers. Then rained sat. night and the DH course was wet but no anything like the mx track. Julie will get you some pics but she didn’t take her camera out when it was raining so not sure what all she has but I know she got some.

Dillon had the fastest qualifying time of the day for the cat 2 and 3 and he was a lot faster than 90 percent of the cat 1 guys. He will be able to move up by next year I would bet.

DH just didn’t go our way – we had a couple of guys that got stuck and couldn’t pass, had a few guys that had some crashes and Riley finishes on a flatting tire after he finally got the kid to let him pass right before the finish line jump and final stretch.

Sure we will do better next time.

photos to come...
